The Georgetown, Texas Area
Car Club (GTACC) was founded in 2005 by five Georgetown car enthusiasts who were simply looking for a vehicle (pun intended)
to get together with other enthusiasts, have fun, and share their passion for antique and classic cars with communities in the
central Texas area.
They probably never imagined that, years later, their informal gatherings would grow into
an active and community-oriented club with almost one hundred members and an even larger number of vehicles. The club is proud of the
variety of vehicles that can be found at any of its gatherings or events - everything from antiques to late model, from originals to highly
modified. If you have a vehicle you think is special, or even if you don't, but just share the passion, we would be happy ot call you a member.
GTACC is a non profit 501(c)(7) Social and Recreation Club and a proud member of the
Georgetown Chamber of Commerce. The club is a regular participant of the Red Poppy and Christmas Stroll parades, and supports local
festivals, promotions and charitable events whenever possible. For the past several years, GTACC has awarded scholarships to graduating
Georgetown High School seniors who have successfully completed the Automotive Technology Program and have committed to continuing
their formal education. Most of the money for this, and for the other charitable causes GTACC supports, is raised at the GTACC Car Show,
held annually in May. This event is growing every year, and is rapidly develping a reputation for one of the best organized and enjoyable
car shows in the central Texas area.
