65 Corvette roadster

This Corvette is a sweet ride and fun to work on. Having a 427 with 4 speed and its side pipes, makes for alot of loud fun! Being an old drag car, its been fun bringing it back to a driver/show car. The L88 engine is a rare, but well known racing motor from the 60's. It has alumnium heads, race roller rockers, Edelbrock alum intake and carb. and other high performance features. I am trying my best to keep this blue beast ready to lay some mean rubber, if needed.

Some time back around 1964 Bob and his buddies built cars to race up Pikes Peak. Apparently Bob was pretty good at it. He ended up building a car for Evil Knieval's dad. I'm sure there's more to the story.....

David Moore

This '72 Mustang was purchased from our son-in-law Greg Witte about five years ago by David and Donna Moore. He had purchased the car in Ohio about fourteen years ago at a Charity Golf Auction from the original owner. Original owner had driven the car during his college days. David drove the car to Texas where son-in-law refurbished the car with new brakes, tires, shocks, springs and a paint job. After this work was done the car remained under cover in garage and rarely driven until we purchased car. Each year since we purchased the car we have tried to add extra goodies to enhance its appearance and performance and drive and enjoy it.

Doug Shannon

Doug & Debbie Shannon have quite a collection.
- Dough's 68 Mustang GT runs a 390 with a 5 speed tranny.
- Debbie's 69 Chevelle will sport a 327, automatic. There still some work to go here but it's coming along.
- Trevor has his eye on this 1974 Bricklin. It will fire up a 360 with an automatic transmission. I guess Trevor will have wait until the Chevelle is done!

This 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu 350 Spt Coupe was purchased new by Sam Stearns of Georgetown at Compton Motors Inc. (before Hewlett) on March 24 1971 for $3,144.00. I purchased it from Sam in April 1987 for $1,500, which my son to drove to Georgetown High School in the 90’s. It sat on the Georgetown Square during the filming of the movie Texas Justice. In 2002 my son-in law Chris Vehrs led a 3-year effort to restore it to its current condition. It is a numbers matching car and restored using mostly the original parts except for upgrading brakes, ignition, and carburetion. Although we intended it to be only a daily driver it has won “first in class” awards at local car shows.

Thanks for visiting our web site and taking a look.
